Social Volunteer Internship Program

Practise your language skills and build community development experience in a volunteer internship.

Combine English language studies with volunteer experience helping disadvantaged Indians in New Delhi, or in small countryside villages.

Study English, then take your new language schools into the local Indian community and make a difference volunteering with a local NGO. Volunteer Internship Program coordinators will help place you in an organization that reflects your interests, work experience and educational background, choosing from a vast network of partners.

Business English develops your English skills for an international business workplace. Practice speaking, listening, reading and writing for a variety of business contexts. Develop accuracy in grammar and vocabulary to communicate effectively in business situations. English through Green Leadership gives you the opportunity to build your English skills and explore the topics of global environmental issues and leadership skills. You will develop your speaking, reading, vocabulary and critical thinking skills through fascinating topics such as eco-systems, biodiversity and exploitation leadership.

This interactive course helps you master industry-related English language skills needed in hospitality jobs such as hotels, catering and concierge. Public Speaking & Listening with TED Talks helps students master the skills of effective public speaking. Students model the preparation and delivery of presentations on TED Talks, the best public presentations in the world today. Students learn how to organise a speech, how to create slides to support their speech and how to deliver it effectively. During the course, students will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking and communication skills, as well as train their listening skills, build fluency and confidence and improve all aspects of pronunciation to take their speaking to the next level.
