Experience local culture by staying with an ILSC Dublin homestay family.

  • ACCOMMODATIONS: Twin room
  • BATHROOMS: Shared
  • AMENITIES: Laundry and internet plans vary by homestay
  • AVERAGE TRAVEL TIME TO CAMPUS: 40-60 minutes*
  • MEALS: Monday to Friday: Half- board, including breakfast and dinner; Saturday and Sunday: Full board, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.**

* Students may need to use public transport between their homestay, the school, and program activities, and local public transport is not included in the program.

Attend specialized English classes at our ILSC Language Schools Dublin campus.

  • NUMBER OF LANGUAGE LEVELS: 5 Levels
  • NUMBER OF LESSONS: 18 lessons (15 hours per week)
  • NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER CLASS: 15 max
  • GENERAL ENGLISH CONTENT: Our English language curriculum reflects current, real-world issues, recent events, social and environmental issues, popular culture, and events so that the content is relatable and interesting for teens. The English language program focuses on several areas, including Irish culture, reading, speaking, and writing.
  • STUDY SCHEDULE: Study times can be adapted to your group’s preference or scheduled to fit around the activities you choose.
  • CERTIFICATE: All students receive end-of-course certificates and student progress reports.

INCLUDED ACTIVITIES: Students connect and strengthen new international friendships while they take part in fun activities included in the program like the walking tour, two half-day activities per week, and one standard full-day excursion per week.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Students can also join optional paid activities alongside their classes. Depending on the schedule, these may include trips to Howth Coastal Experience, Dublinia, Wicklow, Glendalough and Kilkenny, Giant’s Causeway and Belfast, and more.

The program includes one walking tour, two half-day activities, and one standard full-day excursion. Students can also choose to join additional optional activities for an extra fee, giving them even more opportunities to explore and make the most of their stay.
