LANGUAGE LEVEL REQUIREMENT

Intermediate 3

(Equivalent to TOEFL iBT 35, or IELTS 5.0)

OR Completion of a minimum of three full years of study in a secondary or post-secondary institution where the sole language of instruction is English.

Please note that students must register 8 weeks in advance of the test start date. Registrations received 4 – 6 weeks before the test will be charged a late fee by the Cambridge exam authorities. No registrations accepted 4 weeks before the exam dates.

What is TKT?

TKT is a test from Cambridge ESOL about teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers’ confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world.
