ILSC Education Group requires all students, employees, homestay partners, contractors, and visitors who come to any of its campuses and testing locations or host our students, to demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated, or have a valid medical exemption.
ILSC & Greystone College’s on-campus activities, as well as this policy, will continue to be subject to local public health regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including our approved COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan.
Public health guidance on definition and measures for fully-vaccinated, partially-vaccinated, and unvaccinated individuals may continue to evolve and could affect this policy.
This policy applies to all ILSC & Greystone College students, employees, and contractors on all ILSC or Greystone College campuses and testing centres as of February 28, 2022.
ILSC & Greystone College will accept the COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) unless otherwise stated in local health regulations. Currently these WHO vaccines include:
Individuals who have been vaccinated with a vaccine other than those approved by the World Health Organization will not be allowed on campus until 7-14 days after receiving a full series, or combination of, WHO approved COVID-19 vaccines, subject to local requirements.
Individuals coming on campus or any testing centres on or after February 28, 2022 will be required to provide proof of having been fully vaccinated with an accepted vaccine.
Individuals who make false attestations about, or provide false documents related to, being vaccinated may be subject to disciplinary actions, up to and including expulsion for students, termination for employees, voiding of contracts for clients and contractors and removal/restriction from campus for visitors and/or any other attendees; such individuals could also be at risk of criminal liability.
Personal information will be retained confidentially by Human Resources and would only be disclosed as required to administer and apply this policy or as otherwise required by law.
Non-vaccinated students will be given the option to participate in online classes to the extent they are available.
ILSC & Greystone College will consider accommodations based on established protected human rights grounds for unvaccinated students or employees, on an individual basis.
To continue to protect the health and safety of the campus community and at the sole discretion of ILSC & Greystone College, students, employees, and contractors with an approved medical or other lawful exemption to being vaccinated may be accommodated through measures, including online learning or work opportunities, up to the point of undue hardship.
Requests for medical exemptions will be considered upon completion and presentation of ILSC & Greystone College’s Request for Medical Exemption form. ILSC & Greystone College reserves the right to have the form reviewed by applicable medical specialists. See Appendix A – ILSC & Greystone College - Statement of Medical Exemption.
ILSC & Greystone College may request the student, employee, or contractor, to provide sufficient proof of their entitlement to accommodation. Failure to provide the requested information may result in the exemption and accommodation being denied.
ILSC & Greystone College will work with students and employees to facilitate access to local vaccination sites. Students will not be marked absent for the purpose of getting a vaccination.
Employees who can only attend a vaccination appointment during regular work hours will not be subject to a loss of pay for the purpose of obtaining their vaccination.
Government and public health orders, guidelines and restrictions, and business and industry best practices regarding COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccines are changing rapidly as new information becomes available and further research is conducted.
ILSC & Greystone College reserves the right to modify this policy, or any other COVID-19 related requirements, at any time in its sole discretion.

Starting on February 28, 2022, you must be fully-vaccinated to access ILSC & Greystone College campuses unless you have a medical exemption that has been approved by ILSC and Greystone College.
ILSC and Greystone College will work with students and staff to facilitate access to local vaccination sites. Please talk to our local staff for more information. Students will not be marked absent for the purpose of getting a vaccination. Staff can access paid sick time for the purpose of obtaining a vaccination.

Subject to approval from a medical professional regarding your personal circumstances, you can get vaccinated for free in Australia or Canada with an approved vaccine even if you have already been vaccinated with another vaccine in your home country.
6 weeks.* There needs to be a 28-day (4 weeks) gap between the 1st and the 2nd doses. Individuals are considered to be fully-vaccinated 14 days (about 2 weeks) after they receive their 2nd dose.
*For the Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine, the time frame is 2 weeks; however, this vaccine has limited availability.
You can participate in online classes to the extent they are available until you are considered fully vaccinated (14 days after the last dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccination course according to the local requirements that apply in your study city).
Students coming on campus will be required to upload their dose administration receipt using the myILSC or myGreystone Apps. Alternatively, you can email your proof of vaccination to advisors on campus.

Fully-vaccinated individuals can still contract COVID 19, so you should still watch out for symptoms and stay away from others. Students/staff are required to do a daily health screening in order to access the campus.
ILSC and Greystone College will consider, on an individual basis, requests from students and staff for exemptions on medical grounds; however, these individuals will still be required to complete weekly negative COVID-19 rapid antigen or PCR tests, subject to the approved medical accommodation.
