English Classes

Students will take English Foundation or English Communication CORE classes with other students in the 30 plus age group.

Each session, you and your age 30 plus classmates will choose an elective class from a selection of unique learning options.* 

 
Class selection is subject to availability and may vary depending on enrolment and time of year.
*Students will also have the option to choose their elective from the options available to all ages of ILSC Language Schools students, if preferred.

English Communication is designed for intermediate to advanced learners who want to use English confidently in everyday life, travel, work, and social situations. This dynamic, task‑based course builds the practical skills you need to communicate clearly and effectively across a wide range of real‑world contexts.

The International Current Events Skills elective helps you strengthen your English while engaging with global news and contemporary issues. Through authentic materials and guided discussions, you will develop critical thinking, evaluate information from multiple perspectives, and respond thoughtfully to the world around you.
