Once accepted, your chosen post-secondary institution will provide you with a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) covering your entire Joint Pathway Program, including your studies at ILSC Language Schools. You'll use these documents to apply for your study permit.
Once you've secured your study permit, you're ready to begin! Throughout your program you'll continue to receive support from both the ILSC University Pathway Advising Team, and the team at your chosen college or university to ensure you're on track for success!

Improve your English with our flexible learning model that allows you to choose new classes every 4 weeks to meet your unique learning needs and academic goals. In the University Pathway Program, you'll choose from a variety of Academic English classes to target key skills and support a seamless transition into your Joint Pathway Program post-secondary institution.
Progress one English level in as little as 4 weeks, up to 8 weeks maximum! If you don't pass in 8 weeks, our Academic Success Support Team provides weekly progress check-ins, Individualized Learning Plans (as needed), free workshops, and FREE tuition – all designed to ensure your successful progression into your chosen post-secondary school. Orientation activities may include virtual or in-person campus tours, sessions with school representatives, and information about campus life, student support, and academic expectations to help you feel prepared and excited for the next in your Joint Pathway Program.

Complete our University Pathway program, which focuses on English for Academic purposes. Build skills for success in Canadian higher education, and ease your way into North American student life at one of our diverse, welcoming, city-centre campuses.

Complete your English studies at your chosen post-secondary institution and start to integrate into your new learning environment. Some post-secondary institutions may offer the option to complete a limited number of credit courses at the same time as the language study component.

Choose from certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, or graduate-level qualifications at one of our carefully selected partner schools.
Depending on your chosen post-secondary program, you may be eligible to apply for a PGWP of up to 3 years and build Canadian work experience in your field.
