NEW Business Qualifications at Greystone College Australia

Learn about our updated suite of business programs launching May, 2021

This year, Greystone College Australia is launching a NEW, updated suite of business qualifications.

Our new suite of qualifications was created in response to the development of Australia’s Business Services Training Package 7.1, an important government initiative intended to update some of the most popular qualifications in the Vocational Training and Education or VET system. These qualification updates are being applied across all Registered Training Organizations.

LONGER SCHEDULED BREAKS

We’ve lengthened scheduled breaks to 4 weeks. This means you can spend more time working full-time and earning money to support your studies (each term is now 16 weeks long, including breaks).

LONGER PROGRAMS

Longer programs means you can spend more time in Australia, and build progressive learning packages that last as long as 5 years.

SHORT TERM SPECIALIZATIONS

New program specializations will allow you to take part of a qualification to learn key skills or to see if a full qualification is right for you.

FEWER CLUSTERED UNITS

We’ve reduced the number of clustered units, meaning students can focus on less content at a time and achieve stronger outcomes.

NEW Short-Term Specializations

Our Short-Term Specializations combine 6 consecutive or specific units from our full qualifications. These options will help you to start building your skills and knowledge or target a specific goal. Students will receive a Statement of Attainment for units completed and may opt to continue on to complete the full qualification.

Transitioning Current and Registered Students

With the launch of the new Business Services Training Package 7.1, some of our current and registered students will need to transition to the new programs. The Greystone College teams have developed a supportive plan to work with our over 6,000 students, both current and those who are enrolled to join us in the future, to make their program changes easy. We are reaching out to students individually by intake date, with priority given to students on packages that may require significant or customized modifications as a results of the changes. We will work with each student to ensure that their qualification changes continue to support their work, study, life, and career goals.
