Get ready for an amazing cultural experience in the bilingual city of Montréal! You can even learn about performing arts as you experience the city's European charm by taking our Drama and Performance class through our Skills Plus option!* Stay with a welcoming local homestay family and study English or French with other international teens. Enjoy fun sports, and explore the city through trips to beautiful parks, beaches, museums, markets, and more.

  • ESTIMATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT FEES: $45 CAD per week

  • GENERAL ENGLISH OR FRENCH CONTENT: Our Juniors English language curriculum reflects current, real-world issues, recent events, social and environmental issues, popular culture, and events so that the content is relatable and interesting for teens. The Juniors English language program focuses on several areas including Canadian culture, reading, speaking, and writing.
  • SKILLS PLUS CONTENT*: Students at the Beginner 4 level or higher can opt to replace their English class with the Drama and Performance class - discover the world of English theatre and performance arts and improve your English communication skills through acting and scriptwriting.
  • STUDY SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM - 5:15 PM
  • CERTIFICATE: All students receive end-of-course certificates and student progress reports.

Explore Montréal through morning activities & a full-day excursion every week.

MORNING ACTIVITIES: Young students connect and strengthen new international friendships while they take part in fun activities that include visits to local attractions, sports, and games.

SKILLS PLUS ACTIVITIES: Students who choose Skills Plus will enjoy two morning activities per week, specifically related to their Skills Plus area of study.*

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES: Students enjoy a full-day excursion on Saturday. Activities could include visits to Quebec City, LaRonde Amusement Park, and more. On Sunday, junior students will spend the day getting a cultural immersion experience with their homestay family.

Weekly Program Schedule

Students will combine daily activities with English or French classes from Monday to Friday and a full day activity on Saturdays. Students will spend their evening and Sunday with their homestay family.*

During specific weeks, students with a higher English level may opt to take the Skills Plus option - these students will replace their General English or French Class with the Skills Plus Class, and enjoy two Skills Plus activities per week.**

Drama and Performance

Level up your English learning and explore a topic that matches your interests, talents, and goals! 

Skills Plus is designed for students aged 13-17 years old who are at an intermediate level of English. Skills Plus classes are focused on learning topics that are relevant, relatable, and interesting to teens. In addition to the Skills Plus classes, the Skills Plus option includes two activities each week related to the study topic.

In Montréal, the Skills Plus class option in 2024 is Drama and Performance (Level: Beginner 4+) and is available in English.

The Drama and Performance class introduces students to the world of English theatre and performance arts and improves their English communication skills through acting and scriptwriting.

Skills Plus is optional, and available during specific weeks of the program for an additional fee. This option is only available in English, and students who choose this option take it instead of General English or French classes.
