Children, teens, and families will build a strong language foundation in our Vancouver, Toronto, and Montréal Junior and Family Camps. Combine study with adventure in our camps or experience a supported transition into High School. Learn English or French and develop global skills in our programs designed especially for youth and families.

skill-plus Skills Plus Option

Level up your English learning and explore a topic that matches your interests, talents, and goals! 

Skills Plus is designed for students aged 13-17 years old who are at an intermediate level of English. Skills Plus classes are focused on learning topics that are relevant, relatable, and interesting to teens. 

In 2025, the Skills Plus class option we're featuring is:

  • Leadership: The Leadership class is designed to inspire young leaders. Students will develop essential leadership skills such as critical thinking, communication, empathy, and cultural awareness. This dynamic program fosters confidence and empowers teens with the tools they need to become confident and compassionate leaders in their schools, communities, and beyond. (Available in our 2025 Junior Camps at ILSC Montreal, ILSC Toronto, UBC, and McGill University)

Skills Plus is optional, and available during specific weeks of the program for an additional fee. Students who choose this option take it instead of English classes and can book 1, 2, or 3 weeks within the Skills Plus options during their availability.

ESL High School Programs

ILSC offers two academic English programs for the junior age group. You can either study academic English alone, or combine your English program with high school credits.
