Discover a truly unique experience along the Coogee Maritime Trail where you can explore on land or under water! The trail offers easy access to an undersea adventure where you can explore the Omeo shipwreck, an artificial reef, and underwater art sculptures. Most of the sights are in waters that are just 2-10 meters deep making it safe and easy for snorkelers and novice divers alike.

Explore this protected nature reserve that sits just off Fremantle's shore. On Rottnest Island you can enjoy beautiful white-sand beaches and secluded coves, and get to meet a quokka, a small marsupial about the size of a cat that can only be found in Western Australia.

Perth is surrounded by lush wine-growing country just waiting to be explored. The closest is Swan Valley, just 30 minutes from the CBD and Western Australia's historical wine-growing center. You can also take a longer trip to popular regions like Margaret River, about 3-4 hours drive from Perth.

If you're looking for an easy natural getaway, head out to Bells Rapids Park. Located in Brigadoon just outside Perth, the park is a great spot for picnics or leisurely bush walks along the relaxed hiking trails that offer amazing views of the Avon River rapids. You might also spot a grey kangaroo!

Another island adventure just south of Perth, Penguin Island offers a chance to see Australian Little Penguins (sometimes called Fairy Penguins) which are the world's smallest penguins.  Just a 5 minute ferry ride from Fremantle, this adventure offers the opportunity to feed these adorable, protected birds.

Designed to look like the architecture from Elizabethan times, London Court is a popular shopping, living and tourist district in the heart of Perth's CBD, just steps away from the ILSC Perth campus. Originally built by a wealthy gold miner in 1937, London Court strikes a unique contrast to the CBD's skyscrapers and modern architecture.

Scarborough Beach is one of Perth's most popular city beaches. This long white sand beach has an outdoor pool, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes lining the beach, and amazing clear blue waters. Scarborough is great for people-watching, swimming, surfing, and hanging out with new friends.

Just 10 minutes from ILSC Perth, King's Park and Botanic Garden offers a 988-acre natural oasis inside the city. The park includes scenic walks, memorials, amazing flora, and fantastic views.
