Get ready for an unforgettable experience in Toronto, Canada’s largest and most multicultural city! Stay with a local homestay family and study English with other teens from all over the world. Do you want to make a difference in the world? Then you might be interested in our Global Leadership class through our Skills Plus option! Interested in seeing all that Toronto has to offer? You will have the chance to visit and explore incredible Toronto sites like museums, art galleries, amusement parks, university tours, outdoor water sports, and even visit surrounding areas like Niagara Falls and Elora Quarry Conservation Area.

  • ACCOMMODATIONS: Single room

  • AVERAGE TRAVEL DISTANCE FROM CAMPUS: 45 - 60 minutes (maximum of 75 minutes)
  • ESTIMATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT FEES: $55 CAD per week
  • MEALS: 3 meals per day**

Attend specialized junior English classes or optional Skills Plus.

  • NUMBER OF LANGUAGE LEVELS: 5 Levels
  • NUMBER OF LESSONS: 16.5 (13.75 hours per week)
  • NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER CLASS: 16 max
  • GENERAL ENGLISH CONTENT: Our Juniors English language curriculum reflects current, real-world issues, recent events, social and environmental issues, popular culture, and events so that the content is relatable and interesting for teens. The Juniors English language program focuses on several areas including Canadian culture, reading, speaking, and writing.
  • SKILLS PLUS CONTENT*: Students at the Intermediate 2 level or higher can opt to replace their English class with the Global Leadership class - develop essential leadership skills such as critical thinking, communication, empathy, and cultural awareness.
  • STUDY SCHEDULE: Monday to  Friday from 2:30 PM - 5:15 PM
  • CERTIFICATE: All students receive end-of-course certificates and student progress reports.

Explore Toronto through morning activities & a full-day excursion every week.

MORNING ACTIVITIES: Students will connect with other international students, build friendships, and experience Canadian culture while participating in fun activities that include visiting local attractions, sports, and games.

SKILLS PLUS ACTIVITIES: Students who choose Skills Plus will enjoy two morning activities per week, specifically related to their Skills Plus area of study.*

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES: On Saturdays, students will enjoy a full-day excursion to Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland and other exciting sites. On Sundays, Juniors Program students will enjoy an immersive cultural experience with their homestay family.

Weekly Program Schedule

Students will combine daily activities with English classes from Monday to Friday and a full day activity on Saturdays. Students will spend their evening and Sunday with their homestay family.

During specific weeks, students with a higher English level may opt to take the Skills Plus option - these students will replace their General English Class with the Skills Plus Class, and enjoy two Skills Plus activities per week.

Global Leadership

Level up your English learning and explore a topic that matches your interests, talents, and goals! 

Skills Plus is designed for students aged 13-17 years old who are at an intermediate level of English. Skills Plus classes are focused on learning topics that are relevant, relatable, and interesting to teens. In addition to the Skills Plus classes, the Skills Plus option includes two activities each week related to the study topic.

In Toronto, the Skills Plus class option in 2024 is Global Leadership (Level: Intermediate 2+).

The Global Leadership class equips students with essential leadership skills such as critical thinking, communication, empathy, and cultural awareness.

Skills Plus is optional, and available during specific weeks of the program for an additional fee. Students who choose this option take it instead of General English classes.
