  • There is a strong focus on language and phonology. Trainees will finish the course with a robust understanding of various important features of the English language, including being confident in phonological features.
  • It provides a taste of what it is like to be a real language student. As part of the course, you have the unique opportunity to experience four hours of foreign language instruction. This means that not only do you get to learn the basics of a new language, but you also get to reflect on how to be a better teacher.
  • Knowing the needs of your students is essential to being an effective teacher. During the course, you will be able to conduct a case study focused on the specific needs of a particular learner. This will leave trainees confident in catering to the individual needs of a class.
