Happy holidays from ELS, ILSC, and Greystone College’s Senior Management Team! 

As we look forward to the upcoming holiday season, it is a great time for all of us to pause and reflect on all that we have strived for and achieved in 2023. 

Our collective efforts in providing transformative living, learning, and work experiences for our students and staff are ones that we should all be proud of. We recognize that our success comes from the dedication of all our faculty and staff. To celebrate a job well done, we would like to highlight a few of our notable achievements:

Celebrations and Achievements from 2023

• ELS, ILSC, and Greystone College received two big wins at the Study Travel Awards, with ILSC Language Schools / ELS winning the Star Chain School 2023 and Greystone College winning Star Vocational College 2023!
• A special congratulations to 27 of our ELS, ILSC, and Greystone College staff who completed the Lead 5050 manager training courses
• A big congratulations and thanks to all our ELS colleagues for the remarkable implementation of Odyssey at ELS this August.
• ELS reopened its Chicago center and successfully moved its New York center onto the campus of the New York Institute of Technology
• The big contracts with Japanese universities that have been providing ELS centers with so many long term students have now added ILSC schools in Canada to their approved list of destinations and will expand further throughout our merged organization in the future 
  
• ILSC Language Schools Australia held the grand opening of its new Perth campus on June 12 and expanded its Adelaide campus
• Congratulations to Lucas Chiusoli (National Director, ELICOS and Higher Education Pathways) for his Lead5050 recognition, as the winner of this year's Lead5050 Champion of Change Award. The award is in recognition of advocating for true equality in the workplace.
• ILSC Hello was rebranded and launched as an online platform for students to start their journey online
• ILSC high stakes language testing team conducted over 26,000 tests this year!       Special congratulations to the ILSC Toronto testing team which was recognized as the 3rd biggest British Council Canadian centre and to ILSC Montreal for winning a green testing center award.
• Greystone College successfully launched new tech programs which will be starting in January 2024 in Vancouver
  
• ILSC and Greystone College schools have an impressive overall year-to-date global Net Promoter Score of +40!  Congratulations to all our faculty and staff for providing great student experiences.

In the spirit of celebrations, we are also excited to announce ELS, ILSC, and Greystone College’s 2023 Employee Recognition Awards! Staff are invited to nominate their colleagues in a variety of categories to recognize a job well done! Further information on the 2023 Awards can be found here.

As we look to a great year ahead with the welcoming of new students, we would like to highlight some of the exciting initiatives that are planned for the year ahead:

What’s coming up in 2024:

• ILSC and Greystone College's Support Services teams will support ELS and their operations. This will include Marketing, HR/Payroll, Finance, and Technology.
• The ELS Operations and Centers teams will be busy going through our next five year reaccreditation - a rigorous  process with comprehensive self-evaluation reports and exhibits, followed by on-site visits by ACCET reviewers.
• The ILSC Perth café is set to open by March 2024.
• ILSC Allo French online lessons will launch later in the second quarter of 2024.
• All VET units that are delivered through Greystone College as of 2024 will have updated integrated learner slides, assessments, and other updates; a huge effort by our trainers and the talented curriculum team!
