As the Director of [Junior Programs at ILSC,](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/programs/junior) I got to see it all: from late-night airport arrivals on day one, to tearful goodbye’s between new friends at the end of the program. I truly witnessed these young adults transform through their experience with us, and I couldn’t be more proud of their journey, their adventure. Our young students came to us from all over the world to spend their holiday at an **ILSC English summer camp** in one of our four North American locations: [Toronto](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/destinations/city/toronto), [Montreal](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/destinations/city/montreal), [Vancouver](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/destinations/city/vancouver) and San Francisco. Together, we spent the summer learning and exploring in some of the coolest cities across the continent. *“In here, I enjoy meeting new people, especially that they come from all around the world – some from Brazil, some from Mexico, and even Korea and Japan. We usually talk, we play some games and mostly we play cards. I will never forget my friends here. That’s the most important thing.”  * – Ahmed, Kuwait Join me for some highlights of our journey this past summer: ### Vancouver  In Vancouver, our students experienced all that this stunning city has to offer through two unique programs. In addition to our Summer Camp at [ILSC-Vancouver](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/destinations/city/vancouver), we launched our exciting [Summer Camp at the University of British Columbia](https://www.ilsc.com/zh-tw/language-schools/programs/junior/residences/ubc) in 2016. This program saw our students living on campus, while playing and studying at the beautiful UBC facilities. We lived in an amazing international community and truly had the best summer! Summer camp at UBC Our activities took us from land to sea through an amazing day at the [Playland Amusement Park](http://www.pne.ca/playland/) to a heart-pumping boat tour of Vancouver’s Howe Sound. A visit to Playland ### Toronto Our **English summer camp in Toronto** saw students exploring Canada’s largest city. This incredible urban centre has so much excitement for our students, who took advantage of all it had to offer. A highlight every year, our students took to an indoor rock climbing centre for an exciting challenge. Rock climbing Another highlight this summer included enjoying the quad at the [University of Toronto](https://www.utoronto.ca/) with a game of volleyball. Volleyball ### Montreal In Montreal, our adventure took place in both English and French with students exploring this historic Canadian city following our morning study sessions. We took in the culture of the city by attending the [Tam-Tams Festival](http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/What-To-Do/Events/les-tam-tams-du-mont-royal) at the base of world famous Mount-Royal. Tam Tams Festival Later in the summer, we took to the skies with the [Voiles en Voiles](http://www.voilesenvoiles.com/en/) pirate ship aerial course. This amazing city has so much to offer, and our students are always excited to come back for more. *“I really spend a great time, and I love this city. I like the activities, I really want to come here next year.”* – Daniela, Mexico Voiles en Voiles ### San Francisco  Our students had the summer of a lifetime in California’s cool and trendy San Francisco. We explored some of the incredible landmarks that San Francisco has to offer including a visit to the unmistakable [Painted Ladies of Alamo Square](http://www.sftravel.com/painted-ladies). Painted Ladies During this amazing adventure, our students took a break to give back to the community by delivering clothing donations to a non-profit organization in the city’s Mission District.
