Metro Melbourne Temporary Move Back Online
July 13, 2020
ILSC and Greystone College Melbourne will temporarily move back to online classes as of Tuesday July 14, 2020. This decision is being taken by ILSC and Greystone College for the safety of our students and staff.
Yesterday, in response to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases over the last several weeks, the Victorian government ordered a return to remote learning for some metropolitan Melbourne students and other enhanced stay at home restrictions. While the Government's decision only directly addresses state schools, ILSC believes it is in the best interest of students and staff to follow this direction.
In accordance with the guidance, ILSC and Greystone College Melbourne currently expects to remain online until August 19th. As before, we will continue to monitor government guidance and we will move back to in-school delivery as soon as possible.
ILSC students are asked to check their myILSC app for class placements, which will be sent out late this afternoon. As before, language classes are being offered 4 hours each day in all study schedules. Greystone College students are asked to check their email and online Moodle platform. Through the Zoom platform, ILSC and Greystone College students are taught by our experienced teachers and trainers and can expect the same high levels of academic professionalism to which you and they are accustomed.
Our student advisors, registration and sales teams are available to answer questions and provide assistance.
We remain committed to providing the safest possible environment for students as they enjoy their transformative learning experiences with us. Rest assured, we will provide more updates as necessary. We appreciate your continued support during these challenging times.
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to a safe learning environment!
