Hours of work: Full time, Monday to Friday, approximately 9am to 5pm.

Compensation: To be discussed during interview process.

Job Duties: 

Student service/reception:

  • Counseling students with issues such as homestay or accommodation problems, academic issues, visa questions, and cultural acclimatization 
  • Greeting visitors, taking telephone calls and answering inquiries 
  • Supporting student accommodation requests
  • Assisting with intake and orientation
  • Collecting and processing payments 
  • Working in the team and assistant colleagues
  • Maintaining the school’s English Only Policy
  • Attending general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned

Local Sales & Marketing:

  • Acting as the local point of contact for walk-ins and agents 
  • Giving school tours and info sessions to prospective students and ensuring successful conversion
  • Attending study fairs under direction of ILSC sales team
  • Liaising with local agents and ILSC sales/registration team regarding new and current bookings
  • Coordinating and setting up on-campus marketing events

Other:

  • Developing, fostering and instilling the ILSC philosophy with new staff
  • Actively upholding ILSC’s Mission and Vision
  • Consistently conducting oneself in a professional manner.  A warm, friendly and supportive approach towards the clients of ILSC is needed so that each student/staff is made to feel cared for and welcomed.
  • Enforcement of the “English Only” policy 
  • Maintenance of a safe, tidy and organized work area 
  • Participation in public relations events
  • Leading and participating in CSR initiatives
  • Attending general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes: 

1. Level of Education Required: 

Certificate and/or Diploma in business administration, customer service and other relevant business fields

B. Specialized Skills in Addition to above:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English o Fluency in at least one second language
  • Computer knowledge, including educational industry databases
  • Customer-service knowledge o First-Aid Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  1. Work Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in international education industry  o
  • Computer knowledge o
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid work visa for Australia required (full-time only)
