The Assistant Director of Training (ADoT) will be responsible for working with the Director of Training (DoT) to manage the student support team; to provide quality student support services to ILSC VET students; to facilitate optimal student performance; and to identify and manage students at risk in full compliance. Working closely with VET trainers and staff to ensure the successful delivery and development of VET courses and full compliance with regulatory requirements (ESOS Act/National Code and Standards for RTOs 2015) and with ILSC Policies and Procedures. The ADoT will meet regularly with the DoT, VET Trainers and staff to discuss delivery and assessment of VET courses. The ADOT may involve in regular VET Trainer duties (up to 12 hours face to face per week).
- BA Degree (in Business or Education preferred)
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Specialized Skills in Addition to above:
- Training experience with international students
- Experience with MOODLE or similar LMS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Industry currency in marketing, business or trade related industries
- A passion for education and sensitivity to the cultural and language issues facing our overseas students
Work Experience Required:
- At least two years of managerial experience
