Student Connect: Beginning in session 11, we will be launching the Student Connect portal which will act as a digital resource to all students’ needs whether they’re starting soon, studying now, or on their alumni journey.

ELS & ILSC technology stack: We are working with ELS teams to merge our platforms to provide staff, faculty, partners, and students with a harmonized experience. Our first phase will focus on a new version of Odyssey & Ody, registration solution for agents, and a business intelligence reporting solution.

Faculty laptops & mobile projectors: We are renewing our classroom faculty technology by replacing desktop computers with laptops, TV’s with mobile projectors, and desks with sit/stand mobile desks. Our first full-campus rollout was in Sydney in August, 2022 following our pilot in Vancouver of Q1 2022.

Student Interns: In Q1 2022, we trialed a student intern program to provide campuses with onsite tier 1 technical support. The success of this program has warranted to continue providing intern services at all schools for the foreseeable future.

Agent resources site (ARS) -> Knowledge Hub: In October, we will be phasing out external access to the Agent Resource Site (ARS) by redirecting agents to login via the new and improved Knowledge Hub. The Knowledge Hub will serve marketing materials, sales information, and access to our registration system.

ILSC GENERAL English Placement Test: Our ILSC GENERAL English Placement test (aka Quick PROLA) was designed for students who didn’t have to take the full language assessment (ILSC ACADEMIC Placement Test - formerly known as PROLA) during the registration process. These students without a test result on their registration record, will receive an automated invite and reminders 4 weeks prior to their arrival. Approximately 85%-90% of students arriving on day 1 have completed their quick placement test which allows them to be placed into appropriate classes and enjoy other day 1 activities.
