Registering for the IELTS Test – Part 2

Question 1: What is the deadline to cancel my IELTS Test and receive a refund?

You can receive a full refund if you submit a refund request more than 5 weeks before your test date

For example: if your test date is April 29, then you must submit your refund request to your test centre before March 25.

You must use the official request for a refund or test date transfer form

There are no refunds if you cancel your test less than five weeks before your IELTS Test date.

However, you may submit a request to transfer your test date, which may be approved at the discretion of the Centre according to availability and other factors. A fee of up to 25% of the test fee applies to all registration transfers.

For IELTS Test Centres in the USA, a $55 administrative fee is charged for all refunds and registration transfers.

Please contact your IELTS Test Centre for details about transferring your registration to another test date.
