Paid and Unpaid Internships
(Volunteer Internship Programs
and Work Experience Programs)
For students who want to apply their language skills and gain valuable workplace or volunteer experience,
ILSC offers both paid and unpaid internship programs, and a
ranch stay program.
Students in the
Volunteer Internship Program (VIP) can find placements with local businesses and non-profits. ILSC's Internship Advisors will do their best to help students find placements that reflect their interests, work experience and educational background.
Students in the
Work Experience Program (WEP) will take courses to help them develop basic skills for finding work, and succeeding in the workplace. WEP students will typically find jobs in the travel and hospitality industry.
ILSC's
Ranchstay Program (Vancouver only) gives students the opportunity to work on a BC Ranch, and is the perfect choice for students who want to practice their language skills while working with animals.
Internship programs are currently offered in
Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, New Delhi, Brisbane and Sydney locations.
ILSC-Montréal offers both
French and English placements.
